MA & PA Community Greenway Update
Yoe Borough along with 6 neighboring municipalities joined together to explore the possibility of creating a hiking and biking trail along the route of the former Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad (MA & PA). A study committee was formed and YSM Landscape Architects along with Toole Recreation Planning and the engineering firm of C.S. Davidson were contracted to conduct a feasibility study. After a nearly two year period of
research, surveys, focus groups and public meetings, they are prepared to present to the public the final draft of the MA & PA Community Greenway Feasibility Study.
The presentation will take place at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in the meeting room at the Dallastown Borough Office, 175 East Broad Street, Dallastown, PA 17313. All borough residents and landowners are invited to attend.
